Artist's Comments
"I will capture you!" The tan-colored robot called out in as playful a voice as it could manage as it chased after the young rabbit. Gamma watched Cream run from Emerl, not familiar with the game they were playing. Cream dove behind a small piece of machinery, holding her ears close to her head to prevent them from revealing her location.
However, this also had a detrimental effect on her hearing, as she was unaware that Emerl was already behind her, creeping up slowly. Gamma focused in on this, growing more and more weary of Emerl's raptor-like approach. The rabbit girl peeked around the side of her hiding spot, and blinked when her pursuer wasn't there. Emerl reached its target. The robot extended a hand towards her, declaring somewhat loudly, "Tag!" as it placed its hand on her head. Cream jumped, screaming out loud with surprise. Gamma's eyes flashed a brighter green for a moment, and in a flash, Emerl found himself in the far wall, looking forwards to see Gamma's steel fist over Cream's head. E-102 glanced down at Cream for a moment, lowering its hand from the left hook it had just thrown. After first making sure she was unharmed, Gamma scooped up the child, then turned his head fiercely towards Emerl once more, who was already headed for them both. Gamma raised his gun arm, and fired off a shotgun-like blast that caused Emerl to crash back to the ground. Cream screamed again, this time out of more genuine fear; she wasn't aware that Gamma was misinterpreting everything--including the noise she had just made. The robot, thinking that Cream was afraid of Emerl's approach, decided to ensure that Emerl did not get any closer. He fired another blast, walking backwards. Emerl managed to withstand this one, having been farther away, and immediately looked into Cream's fear-filled eyes. She began to cry as Gamma fired again and again, backing away. Her captor then whipped around, converting into its faster wheeled mode, before hurrying off with the girl he thought he was saving. nn; I like how it came out. 'cept the background; 'tis a bit lazy, but eh. oo Oh, and I realize that Gamma looks...weird. But I guess you could say it's cuz this is the rebuilt version, or more accurately because he was both drawn from memory and changed a bit; sort of my interpretation of Gamma, if you will. And about the wheel-heels...just...uhh. >> Pretend they're tucked inside the feet somewhere. Yeah. cc; XP Anyway, comments?  |
