^_^ I've given Metal a new look. Got bored with the old one; decided it was too plain, blah blah blahhh. o@; I really like how this one came out, in terms of the design and the picture itself. ^^

A few notes...o.o

The jacket is there not to provide warmth for metal so much as to cover the transition between his blue and gray arms to his completely gray hands.

...Oh, and now he has something to put around the shoulders of cute people when it's cold out. ^.^

He has no gloves. ^_^ YAAAAY I've -always- hated those things x.x;

The goggles are there, more as a joke than anything else. o.o Yet nobody seems to pick up on this. It's a digimon reference, you fools! BWAHAHAHAA!! *mauled* XP

Those shoes; or rather, the straps on the shoes, are velcro. ^^ Why? Because it's unique, fast, kinda noisy, and overall verreh clever. ^^

oo When I say clever, I'm referring to the idea of velcro + shoes. Not to MY idea to use them on Metal.

Uhh...what else...

The cargo pockets on the jeans. o.o Nothing special about them; I'd just like to point out their existance. And ehh, the jeans are a darkerish blue than before as well. ^^

Sooooo...

Whaddya y'all think? ^_^

The jacket is an improvement over the gloves. Mostly 'cause both at once would look silly. :) Having some more red higher up does make for a better overal look, though.
The newer shoes are also good. Much more fun than using almost-sonic ones. ;)

Not so sure about the goggles, but I think that's 'cause they look a bit wide across his head. Still, 'tis funkeh. :)

^^ Thankle. Yeh, the goggles were tricky; it took me a while to figure out where and how to put them on there. That's the best setup I could come up with. o@; Something that just now occurs to me is that those are goggles meant for people with two eyes; not people with one two-pupil'd mono-eye...thingy...o.o;

@o oh well. If I wanted Metal to make THAT much sense, he probably would've never been created. XP

Amen to evil gloves! I don't know why some characters wear them constatnly oO It drives me insane!

I like all the little details in the jacket like the red stripey things on the arms and shoulders and stuff. o.o Makes it look more unique and different than the normal jacket. ^^ The goggles look so shiney and sparkly :3 Luff how you did it! Yis! :D

hehe. yeah, sense doesn't need to apply so much with sonic-esque characters. ;)

As for the goggles, I'd suggest putting the eye-pieces closer together, and having more of the headband at the sides. that's what I did when I tried the goggles thing - one day I might even do a half-decent pic of the guy I did 'em on. ^^

BWAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I just NOTICED something about his shoes! OK, so now they don't look as much like Sonic's... BUT! Take a look at the way the soles meet the upper, especially round the front! Does that look at all similar to a certain OTHER cool, super-fast hedgehog's trainers? Anyway, now that I've pointed out that you (possibly inadvertently) gave him a red version of Shadow's shoes, onto my actual comment!
LOVING THIS! The whole way it's done is teh coolness. The jacket, the jeans, the shoes... it all goes together really neatly. As for the goggles... yeah, they're a little wide across the nose. Perhaps if you gave the lenses a slightly different shape and also reduced the space between them, it'd look a bit better. Also, one minor criticism: his right ear is twisted a little too far for my liking. The perspective on it looks a little squiffy. But that's just a minor niggle. All in all, very good work! *Faves it*

As I look back almost two years ago, I can somehow still see the robot Metal-2 in those eyes. He has improved, no doubt. The headgear reminds me of Eggman in a way and I kinda miss that Sonic stripe on his shoes and his red gloves, but I really do like his new style. Outstanding coloring... Fantastic job! *many random hats and cookies* Good work.
