this took the better part of about four and a half hours. >>; i'm rather happy with the results tho. o.ob
it's 's character, Rave, hanging out in a city somewheres. o o
i spent about half the time on this working on the details on the vehicles down below, and on Rave herself. after all that, when faced with the challenge of buildings...well, i only had enough artistic oomph left in me to use straight lines. XD; so the buildings aren't so good.
as such, please~ focus on Rave and the vehicles. -oo- thanks.
Wow. Eventhough I know its 2D the picture almost looks 3D. It's because of your awsome lighting and shading of course. Most of Rave looks totally 3D save for maybe her arms. The arm furthest away from the viewers looks a tad flat . But everyone knows that sometimes drawing the arm furthest away can be a pain. So a lot of people just hided it.
The dark city is pretty with Rave glowing up the place with her ...glo bracelet type things. And eventhough it's in a enclosed space the whole picture feels atmospheric. The little bit of sky you added in the back must have done that. Wonderful.

Ooooh, that's really, really nice. You seem to be good at drawing night-time pictures... Something which i haven't really tried for quite some time to be honest. First and foremost the pose is lovely... But that's nothing new as you seem really adept at poses from what i've seen from you recently both on here and while'st in open canvas sessions. Its really nice. Secondly.. another thing which i don't think i've ever attempted which you do well, is multiple light sources. The headlights on the car for example are lovely.. They add an awful lot ot the drawing. Now.. as for critique.. i'd say the biggest problem with the drawing are the windows. In all honesty, they're a bit freaky coloured. Windows are glass. And glass is completely colourless. Now at night.. windows should be either really really dark, or if there is a light inside.. illuminated and yellowish. Id suggest using duller colours for those instead of the purples and things. Infact.. those colours would be fine.. just more saturated..
Anyway enough critique.. the drawing is just lovely. The vehicles, and rave herself look great. Good work. And keep up the night piccies. You do them well!
this is a nice picture... actually I like the lighting very much as everything which is glowing actually really properly lightens up its surrounding. This also applies for the vehicles.
For the surrounding, looks okay.. just like a city as intended.. the buildings are simple but who cares: they are surrounding.. the center is Rave and she looks absolutely great..
The first thing to note.~ The jeans. o_o TEXTURE. That texturing alone would've been a good piece of art. I mean, you always do really great with 'em but you outdid even yourself this time.
The face. Ken likes. XD Especially the look on her face...It leaves so much up to the imagination as far as what's running through her head. -Especially- if you know what her character is like sometimes. nnb Also, hair. I <3 the hair majorly. Once again, texture. TEXTUUUUURE. It rocks.
Tail. Floofy to the MAX. ^_^
Feet. >>; I must learn to imitate them because they're crazy-go-nuts good.
And of course the glow effects are all like "LOOKIT ME I AM AWESOME." Always good work with that from you. ^^
Great job with her figure, too. -oo- It tends to be hard to get right in weird poses. >>; Yeh prolly get it right more often than I do. XD

well...critique...The arms could still use a litte more work, they look a little disjointed off the sleeve, and the middle building at the bottom part of the picture doesn't look aligned peoperly. That's all for the nitpicking. o.o
I really liked how this pic turned out, especially in terms of the colouring, the light rings look really pretty, and the textures on her clothing and her fur are amazing. Your overall body proportion is improving, along with your poses. Plus, I'm jealous of your ability to draw the vehicles better than I do.

Rave's kinda fun to draw; there's a balance between unique features and simple design there. o.ob
